By car …
…If you are traveling from the north:
- From Saarbrücken/Kaiserslautern take the A6 to the Viernheim junction.
- From Richtung Koblenz/Mainz take the A61 to Kreuz Frankenthal, and then take the A6 in the direction to Mannheim to the Viernheim junction.
- From Frankfurt/Darmstadt, take the A67 from the Darmstädter Kreuz to the Viernheim junction.
…From the Viernheim junction take the A6/A67 in the direction of
Mannheim-Mitte/Karlsruhe/Stuttgart/Basel. At the next exit (Kreuz Viernheim) take the B38 to Mannheim. After crossing the rail tracks turn right direction "Gewerbegebiet Wohlgelegen"/"TÜV". Follow the signs until you reach the Dudenstraße. There you take the first right into Joseph-Meyer-Str. PharmaLex is 13-15 Joseph-Meyer-Str, which is on the left hand side.
…If you are traveling from the south:
Follow the A5 (from Karlsruhe/Basel) or the A6 (from Heilbronn/Stuttgart) to the "Walldorfer Kreuz". From there follow the A6 to Mannheim. At the Mannheim junction go direction Mannheim-Mitte. Take the next exit to Feudenheim/Neuostheim. At the second traffic lights turn left following the „TÜV“ sign. After crossing the rail tracks turn right into the Dudenstrasse and then the next left into the Gutenbergstrasse. At the third crossroads you will find the Joseph-Meyer-Strasse.
…If you are traveling from Heidelberg:
Take the A656 from Heidelberg to Mannheim. From the Feudenheim/Neuostheim exit follow the instructions „...from the south“.
…If you are travelling from the „Vorderpfalz“:
Take the A650/A65/B9 to Ludwigshafen. After crossing the Rhein, follow the Friedrichsring until you reach the Nationaltheater. Now go over the Friedrich-Ebert-bridge in the direction "Käfertal/Klinikum" (clinic). After crossing the river (Neckar) take the right lane and follow the Käfertaler Strasse. Turn right into the Gutenberg- and then the next left into the Joseph-Meyer-Strasse. You will find PharmaLex in the blue glass building on the left just before the next crossroad.
By train:
The Mannheim Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) is serviced by Regional-, IC and ICE routes. If you take a taxi to PharmaLex you will need between 5 and 10 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Alternatively you can take the tram number 5/5R in the direction of Weinheim. Get out at the Mannheim-Grenadierstrasse and keep following the tram line until you can turn right into the Eisenlohr-Straße which soon becomes the Gutenbergstrasse. Then take the next left into the Joseph-Meyer-Str. You will find PharmaLex in the blue glass building after the next crossroad. You will need about 20 minutes to complete the journey.
From the Airport:
Frankfurt Airport is about 80 km north of Mannheim. There is a train from the Airport to Mannheim Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) every hour and takes about 40 minutes.
You can fly with Cirrus-Airlines from Berlin, Hamburg, and Saarbrücken to the Mannheim City-Airport.
Other airports are Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden and Frankfurt-Hahn.
